It was fun but difficult to get used to

I did enjoy this game. The running around part could be glitchy and it was difficult to get used to the requirements to have a specific clue pinned before you could advance or even interact with anything. When the first DLC came out, I was disappointed to see the publisher prostrated themselves to the lunatics of the world and added a disclaimer stating that people throughout the entire history of the world were all wrong and evil and current "wokeism" is the only acceptable thought.

Great adventure game

The best of the series. Interesting cases and characters within a beautiful open world to explore. I loved the feelings that were invoked by playing on a beautiful med Island at the end of the 18th century. Some things can be improved on. I would have liked to have had a "correct" ending to the elephant case and the combat was a bit silly. Combat got easier after some practice though and didn't take away from the game. I hope they make a chapter 2 soon.

Complicated

Unfortunately could not go through "The police training part" as I was playing on my PC and it is very difficult to use the PC keys for arresting and fight

Awesome Game! German speech is overrated

Speaking German as a mother-tongue myself, I was shocked to learn that people from Germany actually rate this game 1-star because it's missing German speech. "How narrow-minded of you", Verner Vogel would say. I still remember times when games were only available in English, there were only few German ones. Kids these days must be super spoiled with games in their native tongue, no matter what the language. Lean English and appreciate how the dialogs were meant from the writers! So many masterpieces are actually worse with the wrong translations, when it will lose it's meaning. Also, was there a German Sherlock Holmes? I don't think so. So much gets lost in translation, which doesn't stop with videogames but also is true for movies.

German people...start learning English

For all the German people giving this and other games a 1 star rating because it's only in english: start learning English! Come on man, it's the year 2021. English is an universal language. I'm not complaining because this game it isn't in dutch. Live with it!
