Fun game, but with some caveats

Got this on a giveaway. It was pretty fun and well done. Beatiful music, graphics and controls. Well, almost. To get the good ending I had to look a map and some videos. How can I suppose I must ram few walls which haven't any tip? Also, the difficulty spike at the end was quite high. But doable with effort. The game is a bit short too, it maybe would need a couple of islands more. I fall in love with characters, and, after some frustations as described before, I had a good time, but I cannot give 5 start.

Hard, but nice

i like this game i m not very good at this, but i like the characters, quality animations and gameplay is okey music is also pretty good i like reinstalling it from time to time just to play some, sadly platformers are not exactly my thing so i finished it just once Mermaid waifu the best boss and in bondage already :)

Unforgiving game: cant reach savepoint

After nearly eight months, I have given up trying to reach the point where I can finally save the game. I am not an experienced platform gamer, but have tried a number of platformer games before. The game can not be saved before finishing the first level. So you have to run, jump, dodge and fight your way through a long level first. Having tried many times, I successively made it a little bit further each time I tried before it's "Game Over", again and again. But I never even reached the end of the first level, i.e. a point where I could restore my energy, where I would get some more idea about the game's story - and finally be able save the game. Each time I'd have to start all over again. Today I decided to stop trying any further. Sorry, I would have really wanted to like this game, its colourful graphics, music and atmosphere. Would have been great to explore more of the game's world. I gave it a generous number of chances, but the game was unforgiving. In the end it was not an enjoyment at all, just an annoyance.

An anime for kids turned into a game.

This title is an anime for kids turned into a game. Nothing more than that. As a game, it is terrible. Seems like developed by a very unexperienced team. They don't know what a fun game consists of. * As an action game, something like a copycat of Super Mario Bros 1 by the absent-minded: Enemy behaviors are designed whimsically, and enemies are scattered randomly. (For example when you have to fall, you'll often get hit by enemies since you can't see them beforehand.) Level designs also irritate. Good invincibility, knockback, etc. are lacking. * What to do next/future also annoys. For example childish stories are ok if they could be skipped, but meaningless, bloated conversations contain both immediate and later goals. AND it's not clear at all if they are soon or not. So you have to note down all and sort them in order to avoid to get lost later. Otherwise even the next goal can be unclear. * No fast travel (or not satisfactory at all; you have to buy each time, and only back to the hometown is possible.) * Music: mediocre. * "Too American" for me. If you love American comics, you may like it. It could have been good in 1985. I don't understand why it became popular as late as 2014, and even released for PS5 in 2022. Disclosure: I got this game at giveaway.
