Sam is back in the all new Second Episode of his battles against the arch-enemy Mental. After finding the Sirian spacecraft in ancient Egypt, Sam 'Serious' Stone hijacked it and headed for Mental himself. But sadly, this was not meant to be, as Sam lost control of the alien craft and crash-landed in the South American mountains.
Now surrounded by an even stronger army of Mental's evil forces, Sam is forced to battle his way towards Mental's fortress and put a stop to his plans of world domination once and for all.

The top mad doomer shooter
If you want some really crazy 1st person shooter like a Doom 2 with just slightly more modern engine and with hundreds to thousands enemies per level here it is. Design isnt perfect; too many hardcore secrets is hiding some tricky ambush on you, too much enemies just teleport in places where you are which is little cheap, sometimes its hard find a way plus levels are mostly quite big and nonstop messages from your personal computer are just annoying. Anyway, crazy humor and enormous battles and hardcore difficulty make together unforgetable experience which you cannot see in modern games. 4.5 / 5 Holy grail of boomer shooters!

The game’s levels are far more varied—ranging from sun‑baked desert ruins to alien-infested temples—providing a kaleidoscopic playground for pure, unadulterated chaos. The arsenal here is a carnival of destruction. Flamethrower, Sniper Rifle, Grenade Launchers, and the sheer madness of the cannon showcase an array that eclipses the original. Every weapon feels distinct, devastating, and exquisitely fun—an over-the-top complement to the pandemonium at hand. This is a FPS built with a grin. Outlandish dialogue, absurd enemy rosters (headless kamikaze Kamikazis, relentless Reptiloids), and flamboyant set pieces make it silly, earnest, and irresistible. The exhilaration of bullet‑sponge alien hoards swarming you teaches reflexes like no modern shooter. Where contemporary titles often hide behind complexity, Serious Sam challenges you head-on, making each firefight feel like a real test of skill and speed. There’s something deeply sweet about returning to a game that defined youthful afternoons. Serious Sam: The Second Encounter doesn’t merely evoke nostalgia—it revitalizes it. Love the shooting
I want a shooter, I don't care about quests and thinking where to go, I just want to shoot!! Serious Sam and Postal 2 are my favorite games and I just keep replaying them.
