Imagine a world created out of insanity – deformed children, ancient gods, ghosts from your past in the house inside of a water reflection. You are an asylum patient and you have just survived a car crash – the problem is you can't remember anything. Visions reveal answers to some questions, but create even more riddles! Which part of it is true? What do all these things mean?
Sanitarium is one of the few psychological horror adventure games. As the protagonist you will visit five different worlds full of riddles and answers, with which you will have to figure out what exactly is happening and what is real. The story is so incredibly good and enthralling that it could easily drive a sane person mad.

Good but dated
Enjoyed the game for what it was. It was weird and I like weird however like with other pit falls of the point and click genre Sanitarium falls into all the same traps of not being clear on what the objective is. you can't free scroll around the area so parts of the map on where you are supposed to go are hidden from view and items that are required to finish areas can be easily missed so you end up spending a ridiculous amounts of time going pixel by pixel with your mouse to find things that should be clearer to see. I did enjoy this game even though point and clicks aren't my forte. This game is for die hard point and click fans only though.

Great oldie point & click
Controls are a bit yanky time to time but other than that this is an awesome game. Sadly even though you turn sounds lower, cinematics are very loud. And because of those I can't give full five stars

Nostalgic, still holds up
Can be frustrating at times but brings so many great memories from the past. Love replaying this from time to time, and halloween seems the perfect time for another run.
