Not The Game I Paid For

Saints Row IV was an alright right game, Re-Elected is not. For some reason GOG approved replacing the original game with a DRM infested POS that runs worse and introduces bugs and this significantly has lowered my trust in this service. Which is the next game that is going to be taken away and exchanged for an inferior copy? At least with The Witcher 3: Modded Edition they let you retain the game you actually bought as an extra even if it should have been a separate store entry to begin with. Where does this end? I don't need some devs that had nothing to do with the original games take a dump on half my library and replace good games with buggy inferior versions, I really could do without that. So to any potential customer, don't buy this.

So...wtf GOG?

Got the game installed since months, just now played it. Now it wants to communicate through my firewall, I got a windows popup for it, and in the game it says I would be missing some DLC that was previously installed. I can play, but then I take a look here...and apparently there's an update (yes, i got auto-update on, 2 Updates in Dec 2022) and it's supposedly some Epic Games stuff involved now. No thanks guys, what are you thinking?! Where's the NECESSITY even?! Unbelievably cheap move!

Update made unplayable.

Im one of those unlucky people that cant launch the game anymore. Why didnt volition just do what they did with SR3 remastered and leave it as its own version? If this isnt fixed soon im asking for a refund.
