a good game with some serious problems
This game has two main problems. 1) the constant annoying crashes 2) the side missions that are required to play the main story mode that arent as fun as the main story. outside of that its a pretty decent game.

And I love the mods. Get the Gentlemen Of The Row mod and the Juiced SR2 patch for the best gameplay experience

Good game but badly optimized
I can't recommend this version to anyone because the fps makes it unplayable..it literally hurts my eyes to play this game more than a few minutes...and this is somebody who purposely caps older games at a really low framerate to add an extra layer of nostalgia. Running this game on a GTX 970 , I7 4790, 8GB RAM...it is capped at 30 FPS and drops to 20s when alot of things are happening on screen.. If you still want to get the game out of morbid curiosity , get it when its on sale.

No the game is not fixed
It still has the same problems as the steam version and also has a hardcoded 30fps cap that doesnt really fix anything People that say it's fixed probably are one of the lucky persons where SR2 just fonction like it should Still if you get it for cheap and are willing to take like about an hour to fix the game to make it work I'll say it's worth it (if not, tbh just buy SR3, bit less good but actually runs)
