Sacred 2 Gold

While not living up to the first chapter, it's still a decent at best game. Graphically speaking, it's miles ahead of Sacred 1, but the obnoxious game engine will make even the most recent PCs cry (and hence inevitably crash). It's not a lie, the game is not fully optimize and doesn't support multicore configs even after all the dozens of patches they released, and just as Sacred Gold, the online servers are closed by now. If you really want to give it a try, make sure you install the community patch since it fixes hundreds of problems.

Can be irritating to those who have grown accustomed to modern QOL standards, and is on the sillier side of things tone-wise, but has a healthy amount of character building options, a wide, varied world to explore and is not precious about skipping content. Can be a long-term project to focus on, but also a casual time-waster for an afternoon now and again. Also, community has been kind to this game over the years, so a lot of the rockier elements of the official release have been addressed in a hefty, ongoing community patch. Nothing speaks of a game having the ever intangible "it" like devotion if its players.

I have this game on Xbox as well. But this is a a great open world game, albeit with a bit of jank, and bugs. But the world is HUGE. There are literally hundreds of quests in this game. Mount system is good from what I have seen of it, and the character playstyles are good, and each character plays different enough from each other. Combat can be a little strange an janky at times, with no real skill to it (mostly just click the attack or skill buttons over and over. But if you want a good, large open world ARPG game with decent graphics, and don't mind some jank from time to time, definitely take a look at playing this game.

A classic good ol game but the random crashes are still a problem even after updates and configuration modification.

I really like this game bad has a really bad habit of crashing all the time. Otherwise it be five stars
