I loved this game when I was younger and it has not lost its charm. An excellent game for 3-99 year olds who love the thrill of a big dipper

I never tried the scenarios out as a kid. I'm doing those now and having a blast.

Both games in OpenRCT2 will be combined into one and the performance upgrades will feel Incredible! OpenRCT2 is a free mod. +You can re-scale the UI. +The sprites can move more smoothly at 144hz, high fps. The big parks will not fps lag anymore. +You can switch the RCT1,2 themes playing the other game. +The cheats are available. +You can unlock every scenario (if youve never beaten the game before like I had. I lost progress once and wanted to finish the base RCT1. Scenarios take ages sometimes.) [Off-topic...] If you want a real sequel to RCT1, 2 - don't check out RCT3. 3 adds tons of cosmetic options to making your park pretty but... ...PARKITECT is impressive. It's almost exactly like RCT1 + 2 in that the camera angles are the same, the new features compliment making steady cash flow in 1+2, the maps are good, campaign progression is good, themes are applied easier. Planet Coaster on steam is more like RCT3 with the go-pro coaster cam feature. It's less focused on making money off an exciting amusement park. [Just my opinion. Play Parkitect if you love RCT1 and/or 2. And get OpenRCT2 after buying the og business-management gems of the late 90s]
