Just a blast to play
I originally skipped Roboquest because I never enjoy shooting robots. However, after seeing so many recommendations for this on an indie game thread, I gave it a go. The movement is fun, the shooting is superbly satisfying (and the scout sniper pings are some of my favourites in gaming). The guns start off pretty normal but can progress to absolutely bonkers levels, very much in the vein of something like Borderlands. The basic roguelike progression is as expected, the world is colourful and the boss OST:s kick ass. There can be some nitpicking done but I have had a wonderful time with the game so far. Definitely recommend if you're on the fence on it.
