RoboCop: Rogue City is a pitch-perfect throwback to the action movies of the ‘80s. It’s over-the-top violence with charm, largely well put together but rough on the edges. Most importantly, it's a fun way to spend time in a beloved fictional universe that doesn’t overstay its welcome. Blasting at goons as an unstoppable walking machine remains as extremely entertaining as it seemed on the big screen, thanks in part to an impressive commitment to capturing the look and feel of the original film. Mixing in elements like routine police work and side quests does a great job changing the pace, too. Even if it’s not the best example of visual fidelity, and prone to some bugs along the way, that love of RoboCop shines through. This is a solid B movie of a video game, which is exactly what the source material demands.

Even if Rogue City had started to rust a little towards the end of its lengthy campaign, its surprisingly in-depth shooting and roleplaying mechanics, love of the source material, and keen understanding of what makes RoboCop so great in the first place has made it one of the biggest surprises of 2023 for me. In a year full of absolute bangers, make sure you spend some time in Detroit.

Nanananana. Nanana. Nananana!
Give the guy a hand! They knocked it out of the park with this one. A game that is almost as sharp and intelligent as the first movie from the 80's. Some dialogue could be better and some humour might be a bit too much. But all in all, I like it thus far. A story that is engaging and gameplay that holds up.

You're violating the law!
A very enjoyable experience (even if you're not a fan of the series). It has a good story and visuals, but the main selling point is its gameplay - may it be the gunfights or playing the role of a detective, it really feels good to be in the Robocop's shoes there (with endgame/newgame+ giving you the option of becoming really powerful and stomping through the opposition). There's also plenty of solid one-liners, so expect a quality 80's action movies immersion.

Power Fantasy!
RoboCop is an absolute blast to play. The game nails the feeling of being a walking tank—you move with power, precision, and an unstoppable presence that makes every shootout feel like pure action-movie chaos. At the same time, it sprinkles in plenty of funny and lighter moments that balance out the intensity, keeping things fresh and entertaining. It’s a perfect mix of badass action and unexpected humor, making it a standout experience.

Awesome game
I'm not fair in but, i'm loving the game. looks great, plays well, yea some of the character look wired but it not that big of a deal to me.
