Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood

I remember playing this back in the day (wow now I sound like my dad...). This is a classic game, full of features and different way's to accomplish objectives. Not only that it has an excellent, albeit done to death, story. I think it was ahead of it's time. To be honest it has aged quite well. The game is very similar to Commando's. Each character has different abilities and assists in ways of sneaking, and smashing your way around the map to complete certain scenarios. There are main characters but also random characters that join with similar abilities to your main ones. This helps as in the downtime during missions you can assign people back at your base to construct things like traps and nets etc. It really was a cleverly designed game and back in the day when you did not get the chance to release a day one patch or the mass production of clone video games. A lot of care and love went into this one and I highly recommend it for 10 bucks, you will get excellent value for your time, i've replayed it more than once. This is my opinion however, as i do enjoy strategy rpg games. If you prefer the FPS route than you probably wont like this.

Definitely worth playing, although the game has some awful level design at times, forcing you to fight NPCs. Still that's only a tiny part of the game, so the 5 star is deserved.

it was my whole Childhood and I really wonder why the developers are not that popular anymore, they were way ahead at that time , awesome game where you can fight with your Mouse how you move, thats one of the only games where you actually fight with your Mouse in which you draw a line how you hit, that was mind blowing for me as little child

One of best games I've ever played. I'm playing this game since I was in elementary school and now I'm on college. That how great game is. Everything in game is pure masterpiece: locations, characters, soundtrack. Looking forward to play this game until I kick the bucket.

Masterpiece back from early 2000 where the tactical rts-genre was legendary. I don't think this game could've been done any better and still brings me back excellent memories from my youth. Owned this in steam but it did not run on Win 10 unlike this. Well done, thank you GOG!
