A particle physicist’s mysterious and spectacular death sparks a race to find his hidden vault and claim his terrifying new discovery. The player will take control of four characters whose lives become entangled in the search for the scientist’s vault. They will have to learn to trust each other and work together to overcome the obstacles in their way and to keep this new and powerful technology out of the hands of a dangerous organization.
Resonance is a joint effort between Wadjet Eye and xii games. It's been five years in the making, and it's without-a-doubt their longest and most ambitious game to date. This gem is made by gamers for gamers, and you can clearly see that in almost every element of the game. From the polished and intuitive interface, through well balanced puzzles, all the way to the fun and gripping story, you can tell that xii games knows how to get the job done right. One of the best!
So me and my girl are pretty much into adventure games and just finished this game. We played quiet a lot of adventures and must say: this one is definitely one of the best we ever played! The story is a quiet a bit different, compared to other adventure games. You can even choose between 4 different characters, each one with its individual personal style. We liked that a lot. Also the story and gameplay have some unique twists in it, that we never saw before! If you love adventures and didn't play that one before: GO GET IT! We can absolutely recommend this game!

Totally unexpected
Having played all other games like Blackwell and Gemini Rue, I decided to try this game. WadjetEye Games is well known for its awesome storytelling games. I really enjoyed this game and there was a scene that really surprised and saddened me. Like Gemini Rue, it was a peak in the game that surprises you in a totally unexpected way. Without spoiling the game, you have to find out what I'm talking about if you play this game. Great game! On a side note, these who complain that the pixels are low resolution. Don't be silly! What you don't realize is that it's a fact that WadjetEye Games did that on purpose. I really appreciate that because it brings back memories of playing old click and point games in the old days. There's nothing wrong with that; I think it's a beautiful thing to enjoy. If you do not understand that, that means you haven't lived in my generation.

Amazing game
Wow! It's been a while since I enjoyed a game so much. Great story, depth and variety into the 4 characters you play, unexpected turns in the plot. Keeps you on your toes and has quite a number of 'oh s***, omg!!!' moments. Elements of sci-fi, old-school cop adventures and psychological drama. Great gameplay too; classic 3rd-person point-and-click environment, interaction with both with items and memories, long-term and short-term! I also liked that, I think all, puzzles and solutions were logical, realistic and made sense. Not a very long game, but long enough, spent a weekend on it but I really, really enjoyed it. Recommended!
