A week from a Redneck's life:

Munday: Well, we crash-landed that UFO in the desert and Bubba says he wants to go home. Heck, I don't blame him 'cause there ain't no place like Hickston. But according to my map, we're gonna have to blast our way through jack o' lope farms and a riverboat as well as a brothel (Bubba can't wait) 'fore we get home again.
Toosday: Met new folks like Daisy Mae (she's purty). Bikers, pigs, cows and jack o' lopes. I think I even saw the King at the Slurp n' Burp.
Winsday: Yeehaw! Got to joyride in a Swamp Buggy and a motorcycle that were both armed to the teeth. I hope those peoples I ran over will be alrite. I still got a darn jack 'o lope stuck in the grill though.
Thersday: New ways to destroy stuff! I found over 10 weapons like a crossbow that shoots dynamite-loaded chickens and a slingblade. Mmmm-Hmm!
Fri-day: Sure am hungry! I just need some good ol' redneck powerups like pork rinds, cow pies and some of my granpappy's moonshine!
Saterday: Boy I sure so like those toe tapping tunes by that good ol' boy Mojo Nixon.
Sunday: Heck! With all the new places we been, I sure wish my kinfolk could've come along for the ride!
Want to experience more than just a week? Then take a dip into the Redneck's world of floating whiskey and widespread pork rinds. The crazy adventure continues through Redneck Rampage, Redneck Rampage Rides Again: Arkansas and Redneck Rampage: Suckin' Grits on Route 66. Now all three games bundled together.
But wait, there's more! For those curious about the Redneck language you can download and install "Cuss Pack" add-on (follow the readme.txt file for instructions).
Includes Redneck Rampage, Redneck Rampage Rides Again: Arkansas and Redneck Rampage: Suckin' Grits on Route 66

Yeah man, this is one of the games you want to play when you truly want to live the nineties that was the apex of being a redneck was cool. Grab some Jeff Foxworthy cd's, grab ya some cool ones, tune into youtube 90's country playlist, and have ya self a ball.
If you're the kind of player who enjoys schlocky games cause you saw a youtuber play it or you're interested in the history of FPS, I would say definitely play this.
If you're looking for a powerful emotionally gripping story with deep gameplay, obviously you won't find it here.
This is the kind of game your poorly adjusted friend who came from a broken home played back in middle school.
This is the kind of game that modern fps titles like Slayers X are emulating with their malevolent, sleazy looking levels. Everything in Redneck Rampage is (often literally) oozing with a seedy decrepitude
Redneck Rampage is not a game that excels when it comes to the technical design or even the most basic gaming requirements that somebody wouldn't even dare to think while playing games.
However, i must say that Redneck Rampage is not like anything that i've ever played before, it's one of those rare cases where the bad and tasteless elements come together and build a design that manages to feel fresh and unique despite looking and smelling bad.
This goes through the entire series of games, even the last one's not loosing it's charm and loud music covering up the rude but meaningful alterations of reality that the game presents.
This is a must have for anyone that wants to see video games in a completely different way, people that would like to discover what hides behind the common bookshelf's of modern shooters.
Only understanding this you would get some enjoyment or discovery out of what games can be capable of, not only for the shallow representation of what's good, but also in seeing the majestic beauty in something like it is, Redneck Rampage.
Note that Windows 10 is not supported for this Build engine title. With Windows 10 I experienced: (1) odd micro-stutters and (2) music ONLY audio stutters (fixed by turning off the music). There is another issue (3) with hitting and enemies that may or may not relate to Windows 10.
(3) takes place when aiming with, say, a hit-scan pistol medium- and short-distances. The player will oddly hit or miss, irrespective of the crosshair being on the target. Moreover, hits register awkwardly with the crowbar at point-blank range, viz. hitting something with the crowbar while right atop it will awkwardly hit or miss. Please note that this is related simply to hitting the target and not dealing damage to the target.
This behaviour is something that I did not experience playing other Build engine games on Windows 10 (Blood, Shadow Warrior) and something I did not experience playing other Build engine games on Windows 7 and 8.1 (Blood, Shadow Warrior, Duke Nukem 3D). It may be that the built-in aiming feature (cf. Blood, Shadow Warrior, Duke Nukem 3D) is less forgiving or poorly designed, it may be that Windows 10 is not playing nice with it, or both.
Fun shooter with modifications. I am using the Rednukem one from the PC Gaming Wiki which addresses complaints from the community, especially regards to the shotgun. I'm having fun now honestly, but I can't see myself playing several times.
