Very confusing for beginners
A lot to read and learn on system and function. And the game itself is not very informative. I haven't see any game crashing bug yet ,however. So I'm giving 3 stars because the game take time to learn it.

Crashes after 5 minutes
Bought the game today on offer, but it is worthless as crashes after only 5 minutes into the game. Absolutely useless.

Historical interest mostly; try OpenTTD
I remember this game well since it was one of the best of the Loki Games ports to Linux back when it was new and I enjoyed it at the time. I have not played the current GOG release but did play that port somewhat recently. The basic game still works, but IMO the free OpenTTD (openttd.org) is a much better game. The OpenTTD interface is not obvious and you need access to the online wiki for documentation when you start, but stick with it a bit and it works. Railroad Tycoon 2 is very simple, with just a fraction of what you can do in openttd. I have not played Railroad Tycoon 3 or Sid Meyer's Railroads and can't say how those compare.
