You are a solar powered craft, racing against the sunset at insane speeds. You navigate a procedural landscape that changes every day. You find and collect speed boosts to go even faster and momentarily reverse time. The goal is to increase your score and survive as long as you can without running out of daylight or smashing into pieces. For a change of pace, team-up with other players in an asynchronous relay race.
The Simplex World Creator is included right in the game and allows anyone to make unique new game modes (or modify existing ones) and share them in a special user worlds screen for all to see. The game also includes an extremely difficult world called Apocalypse and a deep player leveling system - with tons of objectives and 25 player levels to unlock. As you unlock items, you can customize your ship with attachments like faster turning, protective shield, and decals.

A simple (unoriginal) concept, tweaked a bit, and done very well.
For $10 I'd say no, but I got this 90% off and it's incredible value. 50% would be worth it IMO.
This little arcade game is good to play for about 10-20 mins every day or so. Maps are generated randomly every day and each day you have some new pretty challenging set of maps to race through.
However, if you stay for a little longer you will inevitably become bored quickly because despite that there are 25 levels in the game they are all 100% the same set of maps. The only thing that changes is challenges which you have to complete in order to get to the next level. After a couple of runs your interest diminshes rapidly.
So, if playing for 10 to 20 mins every day it's 5/5
If playing just as any other game, it's 3/5 at best, so overall it's 4/5
Simplistic, yet focused gameplay, nice aesthetics and music - technically I don't really have anything to complain about. What I sometimes find a bit frustrating/repetitive is how you start the game every time all over again (even though over time you get some cool gears that help you along your journey). That's my only complaint. Highly recommended to check out when it's on a discount.
What I like most about this game is it's look.
It's the kind of future vision that was transported in the now classical 'Tron' movie.
And although it may sound odd - this 'old' cyber future look feels more visionary and futuristic like all these fancy computer generated stuff that is produced nowadays...
The brightness of the scenery in addition with the smooth speed of the game, the unobtrusive soundtrack - all that put together feels almost mesmerizing. Almost like meditation.
I love it.
