Are you feeling adventurous, Hero? The world of Gloriana, with all its wonderful diversity, awaits you. In this pack of five classic Sierra adventure games you will create your character (a warrior, thief, or magic user) and set out on a grand journey for fortune and fame! You will solve quests and puzzles, fight monsters, and save innocents.
In the Quest for Glory pack, which contains all five parts of the classic action RPG games by Sierra, you create your own character, choose his class and abilities and then set out on your grand voyage. Quest for Glory games are universally acclaimed as one of the best adventure games ever developed. After completing a part, you can import your character into the next one, keeping your skills and some special rewards you've hoarded, like magic items.
The story is another of the Quest for Glory series' strong points. It's very solid and immersive, with a light-hearted and humorous narrative that will keep you glued to the screen throughout each of the five installments.
Includes both: VGA and original version of Quest for Glory 1.
Venture across five huge worlds, each based on a different culture and mythology, from Germanic fairy tales, through Arabian and Slavic folklore, right down to Greek mythology.
Three starting character classes to choose from (fighter, magic user, and thief). This decision not only modifies the gameplay but also the story, providing for excellent replayability.
You can transfer your character from one game to the next. The skills and wealth you worked for so hard are not lost!

Quest for Glory V is that game where you want to date the cabaret hot chick and soon you regret it because the chubby silly innkeeper who's got a crush on you is way cuter.
I loaned out or lost my anthology pack a few years ago, so was very excited to be able to purchase it digitally......however I am experiencing a number of bugs and glitches that were not in the original games. Game will stop and not respond at times. That I can remember so far; casting open on the ice giants cave, after finishing a game of daggers with the chief thief, agreeing to play a game of mages maze with erasmus and entering the castle after rescuing the baron in bear form. Hope these kinks get worked out, I love these games!
This game deserves a makeover. I have wasted so much time trying to just beat this game on a simple walkthrough and it's extremely frustrating with all the buggy issues. Every time I try to save it says there's not enough disk space, change directory.. Ok, but then it says my directory doesn't exist.. Ok, so I guess I'll just keep replacing my current save.. Which will screw you over. I already had to restart because I picked the mandrake during the day.. Ok, fine, waste several hours but let's wrap this up.. Nope, my stealth I guess isn't high enough to walk past minotaur.. Ok, I'll go walk around for 10 minutes stealth to get it higher.. I can't climb the fortress even though my climbing is over 60.. ? I dunno, I keep trying to climb it and I can't, I've used all my stamina potions.. so I guess I'll leave? Nope, can't leave.. When I go to leave back through the cave, it just doesn't register that I'm walking into the cave.. I just stand there. If I manually use arrow keys to walk, it'll just keep walking off the screen, it will not register the input that I'm transitioning to the next tile. Another save down the drain. For the majority of my play, I have not been enjoying and playing a game, I have been playing against bugs and interface/input issues. Better off just watching a playthrough on youtube if you're looking for nostalgia. The hours wasted just trying to get from A to B aren't worth it. My save is literally dead at the brigand fortress, I have been going for maybe 3 hours trying to walk back into the cave.
The third game has a terrible ending, or I would have given a full rating. I got a spoiler from a bad game endings video, but I'm glad that I did. You might consider just playing the first two games.
