Unlimited Skillcap FPS
Although completely lacking in the single player department, you can at least play vs AI to practice your skills and learn the map layouts. Best enjoyed in multiplayer, although Quake Live will have far more players as it officially replaced Quake III Arena a long time ago. If you're looking for the hardest, most brutal and highest skillcap FPS deathmatch of all time you have found it.

As with Unreal Tournament, you may play against other humans, or A.I. bots. There have been many heated debates over Unreal Tournament verses Quake III: Arena. Let me settle the debate once and for all. This game is open-source and Unreal Tournament is not. As a modder, that is all it takes for me. Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Missing content
This game is straight up missing content; for example multiple time demos are gone; now instead of 3 there is only 1. Get the OG version on ebay instead.
