What happened to the humans? Set in a post-apocalyptic world strewn with cast-off pieces of machinery, Primordia tells the story of Horatio Nullbuilt, who finds his peaceful existence threatened when a rogue robot steals his power core—the sole source of energy fueling his ship and keeping him alive. To recover it, the robot and his companion, Crispin, must leave behind their idyllic home for Metropol, the city of glass and light. Their quest to reclaim what has been taken away will lead Horatio to unexpected discoveries about his origins—and a new understanding of the humans who walked the earth before him.

Primordia is delightful, smart and packed with personality, but it also comes to a close just as you're ready to explore more of its engrossing world. Leaving the player wanting more is no great disaster, of course - and the truncated length makes it tempting to go back and try to earn some of the different endings - but it still feels like a really good game that is only a few drafts away from greatness.

There is plenty to forgive Primordia for, but if you can get past the issues and lose yourself in the game there’s a rich and emotional story waiting for you. I’m a bit of a robot nut myself and despite all of my nitpicks about the game I found myself deeply affected by the ending. There’s a lot of reasons to fight Horatio’s war and Primordia does a great job of considering all of them even if it trips a few times on the way there. If you thoroughly enjoyed games like Beneath A Steel Sky or Full Throttle, I can guarantee that you’ll find plenty to like about Primordia.

Beautiful pixel graphics and story

Wadjet Eye Games did it again! A great game with interesting story and beautiful pixel graphics (which is Wadjet Eye's graphics staple). I've already played all of Wadjet Eye games: Blackwell Bundle, Resonance, A Golden Wake, and Gemini Rue. All of them are awesome and their stories are entertaining like reading a book. That's what I love about playing point-and-click games! I look forward to more games by Wadjet Eye Games. Keep it coming! *thumbs up*

Growing Together

Imagine to have played a lot of years ago Beneath a Steel Sky. A lot of time flood away, you're grown, made experience, aquired a more deep awarness, your soul needs more deep plot when you read a book or play a game. But never forgot your love for sci-fi and steam-punk literature, Asimov and Gibson, and so on. And now imagine a world where the games you played so far years ago, has grown with you, renewing itself and satisfying the child in oyu and the man you are now. This is Primordia: wonderful for the kid, but for the, ehm, more "agee" too.

WOW, Epic awesomeness

Heartfelt story of finding ones self. I have wanted to play a game, to be told a story, for a long while. This delivers while being challenging and entertaining at the same time. Emotions run high in this story. Multiple playthrough's warranted!

Beautiful, sad, way above the genre

This is one of the most beautiful stories I have played, as well as one of the most consistent universes I have seen in a video game. All of this wrapped in wonderful writing, beautiful graphics and riddles that make entire sense. I would be very happy to return to this universe some day.
