Story

In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted. As you dig into the dark secrets of Talos I and your own past, you must survive using the tools found on the station -- your wits, weapons, and mind-bending abilities. Great game but not for me

As a survial horror fan and RPG fan. I had always been curious about Prey and immersive sims I tried System Shock and liked aspects but I really wanted to give Prey a shot. I like lots of aspects about prey especially the story and atmosphere also the anti gravity segments. My main gripe with it and other sims are the amount of side stuff popping in your face and the reliance on *go here to grab a keycard or repair said item to unlock this place way over here* Great story and game design just not for me. Put it down and probably will never pick it up again.

One of the very vest games of all time

This game was a labor of love. This game is art. Human characters. Gripping story. Many tense decisions to be made. Great mechanics and progression. And the the aesthetic and presentation almost can't be beat. The fact this game sold poorly is evidence that Satan exists.

Didnt know what to expect

As someone who really enjoyed system shock remake and system shock 2, I never looked into this game before. Ive heard of it but seeing as its on sale I figured why not. Well this game is awesome. Im only a few hours in and I am hooked. Arkane studios was such a legendary studio. I spent 8 dollars on this game and its DLC and I couldnt be happier!!

Great shooter / adventure

Prey is a great combination of shooter, RPG and adventure. The game feels like an escape room where you constantly have to puzzle how to open rooms for nice stuff or just to advance in the game. Meanwhile you have to be on constant alert for enemies, who can be hidden anywhere. This all is combined with an immersive story and ambience which sucks you up immediately. There's an RPG like skill system which makes ma want to replay the game, since there are many different ways to build your character. And it's impossible to unlock all rooms during one playthrough.

Atmospheric and thrilling

A good game that has a great atmosphere and intriguing storytelling, with a narrative that evokes the essence of the Alien movies. Its a like a mix of Half Life 2 with System Shock, so if you like some things of those games, maybe you will love this experience. Also it has some ocassional good scares here and there, but it´s not too scary. On the side note, this game it´s like a slow burn, because it starts a little slow, but it gets more interesting after you play like 4 hours
