Story

Prey still really holds up
Prey still really holds up. This is on my list of favorite games. The atmosphere and story telling is great. The combat is a little clunky and you can die super quickly, but it teaches you to outthink your opponents, using hazards, traps, and the environment.

Great game
Detailed, thoughtful 'alien' shooter. The mimics are such an original enemy design & you can pick up and throw almost anyting. Deception is a strong theme, things are not always what they seem.

An excellent game with scary lifeforms
This game is amazing with it's twists and there are many ways to get around obstacles, some of which become even more fun when you get to new game plus. Its so cool exploring the Talos 1 and upgrading your gear as you progress. It's still a great game even in 2025 and I believe everyone should try it out at least once if you like fps shooters where you uncover the story and have to get key items like keycards and have objectives to complete.
