A fast-paced, guns-blazing, mind-numbing isometric view killing spree
The graphics have certainly not aged well and the controls do take some getting used to, but the game is mindless fun. Its a diversion and can be a guilty pleasure. There is certainly no real plot to get hooked into and the game relies primarily on its mindless and over the top civilian violence. You've probably spent more on worse. If you're looking for something to play in between bigger games, you can't really go wrong with Postal.
I didnt play this game when it was first release so i dont have the good old memories to refer to. What i would say is the gameplay is very poor, the graphics are dated and i was soon very bored.
Sorry to any Postal fans out there but this isnt close to being copmared to GTA.
The game gets boring fast and is overly violent. It's like a bad grade-B movie. The violence in it is beyond over the top and it is violent for no reason. It's a game made violent simply to be violent and nothing else.
Your worst enemy will be the Q key, Q for Quit, Q for commit suicide in the middle of your game. Do NOT press Q (you're gonna press Q).
Still, a great game. I remember playing the demo as a kid. My parents, of course, did not let me get the full game. I forgot all about it for so long. Now ... Now I can go ... Postal!
