Port Royale 4
I've haven't played long, primarily because I can't get the damn ships to move! Feel like I've set up 'trade routes' correctly, but the ships simply won't budge. I'll keep trying for awhile.

Not a good update
Waarfare and batltles are sub-optimal, sequential, predictable and quite forced. Add to that overwhelming numbers of irritating attack messages when warfare breaksout and the game just isn't fun.

Campaign needs to be a learning experience not a beat down. No matter what I try I can't profit past Hawkins attacks. Waste of time.

Great Game!
To start, the game is simply great at what it tries to accomplish. It’s a management style Pirate adventure turned just right! The one major draw back that some complain about, turn based ship combat, is actually very nicely done in my opinion. Tools in the game keep it from becoming overwhelming. Easy to see trade routes, number of ships on said trade route, easily selected ships from trade route and maintain or change as needed. If you are on the fence, but love that type of game, I would highly recommend this game to you or anyone that would enjoy these type of “management” games! Again: Turn based ship combat is done really well, so don’t let that small thing ruin a great game! TLDR: 11/10 would highly recommend!
