P·O·L·L·E·N is an atmospheric, suspenseful and highly interactive first person sci-fi exploration game set on Saturn’s moon Titan.

Inspired by science-fiction classics such as Solaris, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and the Moon, P·O·L·L·E·N’s retro futuristic world is an incredibly detailed, living-breathing environment, that feels every bit as real as the one around you. Each step in the shoes of a space mechanic will transport you into the Station M, where you can try everything you can get your hands on to solve intriguing puzzles and uncover the mysteries that lie beneath the moon’s crust.

With P.O.L.L.E.N, Mindfield Games goes beyond the basics of first-person adventures for a time-traveling journey full of things to tinker with. And if you have an Oculus Rift, you may find it even easier to fall in love with their well-crafted world.

I can wholeheartedly recommend playing this game to anyone remotely interested in space or first person exploration games that are more focused on letting the player do what the player will. P.O.L.L.E.N stands up to Gone Home as a gaming experience, but early adopters of the Rift would be remiss to pass on experiencing this game in virtual reality.

yes, the optimization is absolutely terrible I played so many Unity games I stopped counting consider Unity as a good 2D platformer engine, but not 3D Unity Game Engine was never known for good game optimization - it's always been like that the devs at Unity prank their tech sky high but it isn't. period. Unity Game Engine sucks so bad I even don't know why this game engine is in the top 100 of the best game engines (yes I said top 100) the gameplay itself: it is like the Station, Ethan Carter, gone home style sometimes a game to chill out works great if it isn't your game, play COD, but don't be mad 4 stars for not using a proper game engine

Best Occulus Rift game so far

Terrific game in general, and gets my highest ranking for a Rift game. They did so many things right - high detail (little text, grime, bee wings) on things you get close to, the ability to operate an array of gadgets, and a spectacular use of 3D fractals toward the end. The alternate timeline story was also very well done, I especially liked the unfamiliar synopsis on the backs of familiar novels.
