A truly handcrafted masterpiece
OK, I just finished the game, and it's very brilliant. The mood and the graphics are really unique, I never saw something like this. Every details are polished.
And it's elevate by the animations, who are truly a huge gap than the previous games from Amanita. There's a lot of people in the story, and all are animate. Without a word, just by the gesture, we understand what they think, what's their mood, it's really brillant.
The game design change a lot compared to the previous game. The goal is not to take objects and to combine with others, but to solve puzzles. So it's maybe less organic: 1 screen = 1 puzzle. But the puzzles are really fun, because you don't really know what the game expect. And then you touch the buttons, it animates something, and then you understand the puzzle. It's very clever because you'll never really stuck.
For the end, the music and sound design are incredible. All is interactive, when you clear a part of the puzzle, the music change. And also a special congrats to the actors, a singular voice but love it.
The only negative thing it's a little bit too short, I want more, but at the end, there's 1 or 2 recycled puzzles so yes, maybe it's a good lenght for not being boring.
I can't wait to do it again for printscreen all the pictures for graphics design references.
Good work and I hope it will be a success.
