The dragons have been popping peglins and stealing all of your gold for as long as you can remember. Enough is enough. It's time to venture through the woods, conquer the fortress, and delve into the heart of the dragon's lair to take back what's yours and teach those dragons a lesson.

Peglin plays like a combination of Peggle and Slay the Spire. The enemies are tough, and if you're defeated your run is over, but you've got powerful orbs with special effects and incredible relics that influence both your enemies and the physics you'll use to defeat them.

Features:

  • Collect and upgrade powerful orbs and relics to defeat the monsters and bosses that stand in your way.
  • Fight enemies with Pachinko-like gameplay - hit more pegs to do more damage. Use crit potions, refresh potions, and bombs wisely.
  • Explore a new forest every time, with different orbs, enemies, and surprises along the way.

There's nothing crazy about Peglin. The game is straightforward but still offers plenty of twists the further into your game session you manage to get. This is one of those no two rounds are the same games, a staple in roguelight titles I have come to enjoy. The better you become at playing Peglin the longer those sessions tend to become. I don't daydream about Peglin, which is to say the worst thing I can think about Peglin; it's there, it's fun, but I don't feel much of a sense of accomplishment once I move onto something else.

Relax and enjoy

Nice and simple game. It's fun to try and combine different kind of balls to create good builds. The artifacts can also create amazing synergies. Lots of thing can be triggered by the "refresh" mechanic for example. (Heal, direct damage, upgrades) I recommend!

Do you like fun? Do you like balls? Do you like bounding balls? do you like something that's easy to pick up, but has a lot of possiblities? Then this is for you. If you don't like fun, look for something else.

Very addictive

Despite what it looks like, it is a pretty solid deck building game with some extra spicy RNG thrown into the mix. The game never really seems unfair and I've been enjoying it a lot!
