Because IF, like me, your RL has EVER been a nightmare, and you dream for more peace and joy in your world, you really don't need to play this one. ....'Artsy' fartsy be damned.

Do not buy it unless on -80% sale (or less). Remember, this is just 1/3 of the whole story promised but will never be delivered in full. I like the game chapter, hate incomplete and broken game. You need to read recommended configuration and double that, because their developers does not understand concept of optimization. Game is dead now. You probably never will see any updates and will never see full story in this incarnation. You still have a chance to see initial concept in full in Pathologic Classic, well worth playing.

kind of sucks

I think it is one of those games that try to be weird for the sake of being weird. And it tries too hard. There is no subtlety here. Weird stuff happens. Is it the plague? Are you hallucinating? Oh wait, you are somewhere else. You died. No wait, you are alive. Eventually, I just stopped trying to figure it out. It is like the old PSX Lucid Dream Simulator, but they did not pretend to have any meaning and/or mystery behind it all. It was just an experience. Still, based on the rating, it clearly appeals to some gamers so I am going to leave it at that.

It wants to be something special but it fails in almost all directions. Also poorly optimized.
