where are our updates?
devs needs to honor their customers purchases and bring GOG party hard on parity with the steam version as least in terms of patches if not in DLC.

A year ago a TinyBuild PR representative equated people who want DRM games to pirates in a Discord conversation. Their CEO, Alex Nichiporchik, addressed the rapidly exploding story on Reddit, saying this wasn't the company position, claiming he had immediately ordered the creation of a DRM free deluxe build of Party Hard 1 & 2. updates when
I'm really upset with this game, would like to buy it but the devs don't seem to bother updating it anymore despite stating the opposite on reddit like 6 months ago. It's ok I suppose, I'll find other means of playing it

Fun concept, bad execution
The premise is simple- the people next door are having a loud party and won't let you sleep... so you go over there and systematically kill them using you trusty knife the traps provided by your sorroundings. It may sound dark and nasty, but it's done in a humours, over the top way. However, pretty much nothing about the game works right. Most traps are good for killing just one, maybe two or three people. With levels usually having upwards of 50 targets, you'll end up stabbing most of your victims, which is repetative, boring and tedious as your character moves slower than everyone else. There's not much room for clever planning here. You have to be very careful however, as cops will be called every time a body is found, and if someone saw you, they'll arrest you and it's game over. In theory you can escape, but given how slow you move it's almost impossible. Some levels offer excape routs, but many are just one big open space with nothing to do once you're spotted. Even worse, often you will be identified as the killer even if you are nowhere near a body when it's discovered. It seems to be totally random and can screw you over fast and often. The final problem is the story, or rather that there even is one. I don't often say that, but this game would probably be better without a story. It's badly written, the voice acting is poor and the serious tone of the story clashes with the over the top, tounge-in- cheek tone of the levels. Overall- a huge disappointment.

A Gem
I didn't expect to enjoy this so much. I started playing (Steam version) and just fell in love with the music, presentation, silliness, and levels. It gave me a few evenings of enjoyment, and I look forward to playing it again - it's that kind of game that doesn't overstay its welcome, but is fun to return to again later. I remember some issue with special events being reserved for Twitch users which was mildly annoying at first (since I don't use Twitch, and think the whole game should be available to all customers) but by the time I finished the game I didn't feel short-changed. Thoroughly recommended.
