I downloaded this game recently from this site and it won't start (I'm running Windows 8 by the way)

Game no run waiting 4 fix or $ back.
This is a great game, too bad the version GOG is selling does not work with Windows 7 computers. I can't believe they are selling this when people have been telling them for years that it doesn't work. I expect to get either a working copy or my money back and soon. This game should be pulled until they have a version that actually works.

New version called Panzer Corps
If you like the Panzer General series, but can't get it to run on newer computers : check out Panzer Corps which is sort of a remake of Panzer General -> http://panzer-corps.com/
