Simple, yet great game!
Simple, some may call boring, but I have re-played this many times since first released along with Allied General, and all the rest of the Panzer General games. It never looses it's appeal of great war fun.

Panzer General 2
Loved the game years ago and love it again. Downloaded the game about 6 months ago and couldn't get it to run. Downloaded it again and have it running great after changing some settings. Running in Win7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1. Right click the Panzer General 2 icon on your desktop. Go to "Compatibility", check the box for "Run this program..." for WinXP SP3. Under settings check the boxes for "Run in 256 colors" and "Run in 640 X 480".

A classic strategy game
Easily one of the best strategy games ever published. Leading WW II warmachines into the heat of battle can't be better than this! Easy to learn, difficult to master. A must have for strategy game fans.

Probably The Best of the General Series
I had a CD copy of this back in the day, & I'm stoked to be able to play it again in a post-DOS world. There are a lot of good DOS games that don't transition well into DOS emulators: This is not one of them. If you're an old fart who spent the 70s & 80s playing Avalon Hill box games like Panzer Blitz and Afrika Korps, this one's for you.
