Old Game but still really good
GoG download installed fine and played on Win10, no problems at all. Graphics are 2000 era but still look OK. Huge number of missions and campaign mode with crew management etc There are mods for PE that make it look modern. But the base game is still fun.

Played it back in the day, was good back then and still is now. Even better with Ostfront mod

Cool, but old and might not work on w10.
I already had a review on this game on this exact website. However, it is gone. Anyway, to keep it somewhat short... I see this as a sim. And back when it just came out, it was amazing. The realism is something i still see as realistic. Even in your tiger tank, you have to tread carefully if you want to live. The graphics are dated today, but if you feel like immersing yourself into a ww2 tank crew then you will probably like it still. The only big complaint i have on this game after all these years is aiming the main gun. And not because it is hard, but because it's ridiculously easy. Once i figured out that the machinegun. has the same aiming point as the main cannon, i laid waste to enemy tanks. Once i spotted them first of course ;-)

Absolute gem for
Do you like fun arcade games? Then skip it and play WoT. Panzer Elite from 1999 is much better than Panzer Elite from 2025. This is real, slow, complex simulator for sweaty nerds (like me). Yes, keybindings is weird, but you get used to it, same as you get used to keybindings in Gothic (polish RPG game). On Windows 10 I think you need some DxVoodoo or some wrappers to get it working correctly but it's not a problem for a sweaty nerd. I dream every night about proper remaster of this game.

Awesome Tank Sim
Chad Tank Simulator game, found it randomly on the internet and decided to buy on GoG, best decision i've made.
