Great story
This is a retro platformer done right. The story is really good, but the gameplay is great, old skool platforming, but you can fly and you can take companions with you to do different tasks. Boss battles are a treat, visuals are amazing, music is really good. Must have.

Amazing Experience
I was initially hesitant to buy this game, but eventually decided to buy it after I saw it go on sale ... and I am not disappointed! This is one of the most enjoyable games I've played in a long time. The controls take a little getting used to, but once you play for a few hours it becomes second nature. The graphics are absolutely incredible in this game, and it's obvious to see that the developers have spent an absurd amount of time creating the breathtaking cut-scenes and overall amazing atmosphere. The characters are extremely unique, and the boss battles always manage to offer a new experience every time. I'm not sure if I could honestly compare this game with any other, since it is so unique, but I think the closest comparison would be a cross between Shovel Knight and old school RPG's like Final Fantasy VI. I highly recommend this game for anyone looking for an enjoyable experience. I got it on sale, but it's well worth the full price.

Beautiful, imaginative and fun to play!
Owlboy deserves all good things that have been said about it. Even if I usually prefer games not to be very long, the roughly 10 hours to complete the game felt shorter thant they were! A must buy.

The good things outweight the bad ones
As it can feel a bit tedious at some point, the games hits you in that special way that it has, to make you fall in love a little bit more each time. It's not the most fun gameplay nor level design an not even story telling. But the charm, the characters, visuals, audio and overall feel from the game. It could had been improved and i'm probably speaking with the nostalgia of wanting to play more even after finishing it, but it is a solid experience for those looking into this types of games.
