A Nice Little Games Nobody Played
A good game that takes about an hour to find its groove. It is about 75% puzzle solving and 25% action. You use disposable clones to solve puzzles and get ahead which I'll admit is gruesomely satisfying. If you have a dark sense of humor, you might get a couple of chuckles out of this game. There is some milder humor in there too (for example about the protagonist's looks), but a lot of it is dark. The story has been done before and doesn't go too deeply into details (the game is rather short, spanning maybe 4-7 hours), but it is entertaining enough (especially the villains) to keep you motivated until the finale. The puzzles will require you to think a bit, but are not real mind-benders. You'll find them mildly challenging, think about it for at most a minute or two, smile the game's cleverness and then sacrifice a clone, or two or three in a clever way to get ahead. If you're into casual puzzles that don't slow the pace too much, it's great, but if you are into hardcode puzzle, you might want to move along to the next game. The art is basic, but the game's decors, especially in the mid to late game, are well done and clearly received more artistic attention than the characters. The action sequences might be mildly challenging if your reflex are truly hopeless, but are pretty easy for the most part (a couple of sequence might require you to shuffle control of your clones and main character quickly, but that's about it). If you beat any kind of action game in your life, you're good. Overall, a nice game that doesn't dig too deeply anywhere, but combines enough satisfying elements (especially its clever not so often used clone mechanics) to make this a good experience well worth playing.
