Nox™

It has been 19 years since I played and beat this game. However, I still remember it's amazing intro where the kid was sucked in to the TV which is a bit like tumbling down the rabbit hole as Alice did. I still remember the first quest where you help a villager to get rid of the insects (or mice:)!) that infested her field. The game was amazing in every way and I still remember how upset I was reading harsh reviews at the time. Despite your age, if you like isometric RPG games (Which are usually great in story telling), give it a try.

I realize when I bought it that it didn't say that it worked on Mac. I got excited when I saw it in GOG Galaxy because I was downloading another game, that I purchased at the same time. It does not work on Mac. It starts to open, but just closes immediately. I was hopeful. The star value has no indication for anything, it seems I have to. I had a friend with this game and I only vaguely remember it, though I did install it and beat it with the mage on the easiest mode back in 2000 or 2002 I can't remember.

NOX is one of my all-time greatest games. In my humble opinion, much much better than any of the Diablo games. Played it when I was 14 and TO THIS DAY I still have the original hard-copy on CD. Absolutely fantastic story, it's a mixture between D&D and Diablo (Hello, mimics chests that gave me permanet trust issues in any other videogame for the rest of my life!). I could not reccoment a game more than I can reccomend NOX for its fantastic game and nostalgia feeling.

Crashes on the main menu making it unplayable. What the hell happened to gog? Wasn't the whole goal to make old games playable? Dissapointing
