Nox™

Best game ever! That was my fav game in my childhood. I sadly realised when the Westwood splitted up and wont see any other Nox editions... :(

i am one of those that still have the retail disc and the help book...and it is thick lol! now i do have a ? is this version on gog better than the old disc? it does run choppy like my diablo 1 does. in other words has it been updated to run on newer pc's better? because if not then if you have the retail disc play it and don't waist your money...this is an awesome game especially for it's time :)

Very well-made ARPG, the player progression is very nice as well as the varied gameplay options. This will suit many play styles. In addition, the characters all have halfway decent voices, and there is a richness to the world of Nox that is absent from 90% of modern game worlds. And that is really one of the things that sets it apart, the depth of the world and the way the character fits so well into it. Another gem from Westwood Studios! Definitely pick this one up, it is still very relevant and fun to play.

I cannot recommend this game enough. Of all the great games developed by Westwood Studios, I believe this to be their best.

My review does not show any hours on record through GOG, but I can tell you that I spent many hours playing this game when I was younger. The game was a dark horse for it's time and fell behind the shadow of games like Diablo for the dungeon crawler's original era. Do not let the old-school appearance fool you. It is a diamond in the rough easily still worth $20 to this day like Diablo still retains
