Great Game - Worth the money
It is slow paced game. You don`t need to rush you are explorer. I love it. It is running great on my NV GTX660.

Still in Early Access
This is not a complete game and the price tag should be reflective of that. In terms of optimization I'd say it's similar where Subnautica is at with how it runs. If this was a $15 title I'd recommend it but at the moment you should stay away.

Works for me
The game runs fine for me on a 780m with 16gigs of ram so if all these other people with better pcs than mine are really having issues, then they're probably going to be easily fixed in a patch or something. It's exactly what I expected it to be and I'm enjoying it immensely, though, I am a pretty laid back gamer who just likes to dick around by myself in games doing whatever I feel like doing and repetitiveness isn't a negative for me. If you want to just screw around in a beautiful universe, it's definitely a must buy.

Wait and see unless you love exploring
If you avoid the hype train this game had you wont be disappointed. You can go and explore different systems and planets. Mining is a big part and the survival elements are kinda barebones. You can go and scan a planet for creatures and fauna. There are some other elements that kinda make up the game but you can figure them out. Pro: Game is fun to explore and just kinda have your own journey. I haven't had a lot issues running it on a 660ti. Maybe 2 crashes in 7 hrs, and I really only stutter when loading in a new system. One of those crashes was caused by minimizing it. For a new game that is pretty low especially for an indi studio. Cons: There isn't a lot of content for some people. If you don't like exploration and mining type games, or possibly seeing some creature that no one else will ever see, then you will get bored. The inventory system can be a bit annoying at times to get through as well. Overall unless you really like exploration, I would wait and see approach this game. There isn't a lot of different things to do even though there is a lot of stuff. So if exploration in not your thing wait and see what new content they add as you will probably feel ripped off.

Love it, no problems playing.
Let me start with: Game runs flawlessly on my system (quad core, GTX950 w/2GB RAM, 8GB RAM) with the 1fps bug coming up once every 2-3 hours. Other than that, runs perfectly with high settings (not maxed). Same with my wife's PC with almost identical specs (her processor is a newer quadcore than mine, but everything else is the same). I love this game. The endless sense of open exploration hits all the right notes for me. The game has enough unpredictable elements that if you get TOO comfortable, you'll find yourself being surprised and in bad shape. I was jumped by pirates on my way back from a mining expedition, and I had to dodge their attacks by skimming the surface of the local space station until I came around to the docking bay -- and safety. It was great.
