If you miss the feeling of playing D&D 3.5, search no more because you've found the right videogame for you!

I had bought the retail package of the original game. It now no longer installs because I've installed it too many times. The original game was frought with bugs and featured a robust patching system. Now... you get everything with all the bugs patched in one easy install package. Wow! It galls slightly to pay for the game again, but knowing I'll have it 20 years from now: worth it.

I bot this when if first came out - years ago. In a box - for my PC. It's a great game and it worked fine. Then .... later I bot it on Steam. And it Crashes. It crashes so often that it's unplayable. Soooo ... I figured it here and it probalby work on GOG. Wrong. It crashes here too. I'm not the only one who has discovered this problem - check the net. Worse yet, this has been going on a long time and has not been fixed. Every time I come back it does the same thing - and I've played it on two different computers. Either they don't know how to fix it ??? or what ?? But I can't play it. I hope you don't find the same thing.

So far I have had a great time playing this game. If you are into dungeons and dragons or really any kind of roleplaying game where you make your own character the way you want to you'll probably really enjoy this game. The game feels very much like pillars of eternity, probably because its the same developer, so if you enjoyed that game you should be able to get right into this one. Be forewarned though, RNJesus is not kind in this game. Expect a game that plays similar to XCOM or the old Fallout games. Still great though.

I've played three out of four of the campaigns in this title. The first one is well balanced between plot and combat, the others are less balanced. "Sword of Zehir" is mainly about raising money with the trading company and killing time with poorly designed quests, and the story of "Mask of the Betrayer" suffers from giving too much powers to the playing characters and turns the game from "Dungeons & Dragons" to "Magic & Magic", like in the old marvelous days of the book game in the 80's. Anyway, I enjoyed myself very much. Having bought it at -75% of its price, it's worth the money for sure.
