Historically Decent
By my few knowledges in oplology, M&B is decently realistic, even if a heavy-armoured knight still gets wounded by light weapons (can be ìfixed' lowering the amount of damage received to 1/2 or less). I found the game fun and entertaining, even if still lacks some options to make it a real free-roaming 'medieval' simulator ^-^

Although this one came first, it is a child in comparisson to warband. Let us hope Bannerlords will be a true father of fathers

Do not buy GoG version aka broken mess
GoG version is a broken mess that doesn't work with mods; gives c++ errors/missing menus, and CTD. Buy this game from anyone BUT GoG.

Overhyped
Many others say that this game is so good, but it isn`t. Fighting from Horseback is a sheer catastrophy, hitting enemies is nearly impossible. Aiming with Bows and Crossbows is a bad joke, you often can`t even hit the target when you`re right in front of it. So: Better don`t buy it. Maybe the sequels are better, but this one is not a good game.
