A legend among motorcycle racers and the most memorable game of its kind to ever hit the PC market. Offering a superb blend of lightning-fast superbike racing and hairpin curve-infested motocross events, it became an instant classic. It's got a bunch of nifty features, like two driving models (arcade and simulation), vivid graphics that look pretty nice even today and a broad selection of motorcycles to choose from. But all these look pale when compared to this game's sheer fun factor, which will make you want to keep on playing and will burn itself into your memories forever.
Absolutely unforgettable, fun-packed gameplay.
Two realism levels and two completely different racing styles - motocross and superbike
Ten diverse landscapes, from the base of a canyon to the top of the Great Wall

I've never got into motorbike games, played only few in my life, so I decided to give it a try.
It's really fun game, it looks nice and the gameplay is good. If you're looking for a game just to kill some time give it a try.
I'm not big into racing games, and there have only been a few in the past that have managed to really grab me. However, this is a pretty good one, all in all. It's not my favorite of the genre, but it's straight-forward, and the the tracks are quite varied, which is refreshing. Terrain plays a big part in how you play each track, and I found that to be kinda nifty. Another cool thing, in terms of nostalgia, I started playing and instantly realized I had played this before when I was a kid (probably in Radio Shack, as they usually had games like this loaded onto a computer for customers to play around with.
There are, of course, some issues. The way racers stop in front of you to slow you down can be frustrating. Sometimes they'll be on one side of the track and just appear in front of you out of nowhere. I also hit a number of things that you can't see (this is especially annoying when flying through the air and not being able to see the sides of the track - you literally hit air and it can cause you to crash). Also, the arrows that point you in the right direction don't always pop up at the most needed times. I actually found they worked better on the reverse tracks. A final downside... it's short. I got a good couple nights of fun out of it, and now I'm done with it. Luckily, I got it on sale with the sequels, so I can move onto them soon (and a 4th one is coming out, it seems).
What really makes this game shine is its fluid controls. Maybe it's not realistic, but it brings me back to the times of Jet Moto and the like, where realism never took precedence over fun. I wish more games racing games controlled as well as this one.
I've been really waiting for this release, brings me back so many memories. This game has the most excellent gameplay for a racing game, sensations I only found again in the recent Trackmania. I remembered trying to beat my personal track records and my friends's track records, sometimes to the millisecond. I'm thrilled I'll be able to do that again.
The old and great Moto Racer. Fast action racing 20 years after first release. Definitely must buy.
GOG version works fine on Win10. Adding dgVoodoo fixes resolution and make it work in DSR mode 5120x2880. Google for solution with dgVoodoo. Without it it works only in 640x480 and looks ehm dated. But the speed, arcade and fun is still there.
I played this game back in the 90s and almost forgot about all the "content" you can unlock. I do not recall if I have had played it all back as a child, so I made sure to go for 100% this time and it took me around 5-6 hours to achieve it. Totally worth it!
