My God... it's finally here... Somebody, please, pinch me and tell me this is not a dream... Very excited to FINALLY see this on GOG. Instant buy for me. OK, excitement aside, I can only second what others already wrote: MKT is the pinnacle of 2D Mortal Kombat games. All the characters from the first three games are available, including bosses like Shao Kahn, Goro, Kintaro and Motaro. I used to play this to let off some steam when I was younger. For me it's both nostalgia and devotion to the game I sunk hours into - I used to beat this on very hard, expert tower with Noob Saibot, when I was in top form. As for the port: I have no problems running the game so far. Win 7 64 bit otx Win X 64 bit GeForce GT 730. And this time I finally get to hear the music in the background. You like MKX or MK11? You want to go back to the roots but MK and MK2 are to clunky for you? Then go for MKT. I highly recommend it, just like most of the people who reviewed this entry in GoG catalogue.

I remember playing hundreds of hours of this game on my old Sega CD! If I could only play 1 fighting game back then, this was my choice. This game has all of the characters of the first three arcade games, all the arenas and all moves plus some new ones. All blended together in form of several towers which the player can choose from depending on what difficulty they would like to play. Which to me only ever seemed like just more matches with the same, limited, amount of continues. If you like old school, arcade Mortal Kombat then you will not be disappointed with this game. I highly recommend it.

Definitive version of the classic Mortal Kombat era! A must-buy for fans of the genre. Thanks GOG for another gem in our library.
