Looks simple

but it is actually nuanced. (I don't want to spoil it, but there are many things that help in your quest, if you find / use them...) The story in pretty short. Most of the time is spent dungeon crawling, organizing the inventory and selling excess items. There are many enemy types with different move and attack patterns and some with specials like stealing stuff from you. I went with the big sword (and a bow) mostly just bashing through enemies. I have played the 1_14_38_48229 linux version. No bugs. Base game took ~30 hours, the DLC ~10 hours. (Not 100%) It got kind of boring at ~20hours, but that is usual for me. Overall pretty good.

Neat gameplay loop, but skip the DLC

Nice little dungeon crawler with a light shopkeeping management sim blended in. The animations in this game are very nice and worth paying attention to. I closed out the main story in about 10 hours and felt pretty satisfied with it. I then jumped into the DLC, which was another.. 8 hours of monotony (one additional dungeon, ten floors of the generally the same monsters and same "upgrades" with different damage/health stats). Unless this game is your GOTY or something, I'd recommend skipping the DLC.

Poor

One of the few games I have gotten a refund for. The idea is hit dodge hit dodge hit dodge and that's it its slow, its repetitive, its frustrating, and most of all boring .The game play mechanics are clunky you have to time your hit and then dodge perfectly or else you just take damage. It fallows a grid and timers that do not match the time of an animation so your mashing the dodge button waiting for the attack action timer to run out so you an get out of the way of the incoming swing, which will still hit causes it counts you as in that space even after you have moved. Then there is the gimmick of the game running a shop which just boils down to using prosses of elimination to charges as much money as possible before people wont buy it. All in all it feels very unfinished and clunky to play.
