Excellent game, excellent value
This is a fantastic game that I bought on CD back in the day, and have turned numerous friends on to over the years. Thrilled that it's now available on GoG. TIP: Be sure to download the indispensable companion utility Moonbase Console, a configurable random map generator for Moonbase Commander that even works in multiplayer, increasing the already-high replay value of this fine game. Highly recommended.

This game is great
My dad got me this game years ago, when I was a kid. I used to play it all the time with my brother. I started playing again, and it's still as fun then as it is now. This game is perfect for LANs and even works with multiple people all at the same PC. I love the mechanics of this game, and have not seen anything similar in a while. Don't let the "Humongous" fool you, it's an amazing game. P.S. It works great in Wine in Linux. P.P.S. I have an actual CD of this game! :-D

Fond Memories
This is one of the games I bought as a kid. I loved the story and the unique gameplay so much that I even created my own version (Critical). The only thing I thought was missing was special units or powers for each faction. Only the graphics are differentiated for each.

An all-time top 10 favorite
Simply one of the best Strategy games ever made. Easy to learn... even for little ones. Gameplay is G rated and will run great on almost any hardware... Old or new. Buy MoonBase Commander here and get it DRM-free!

Still worth playing - and cloning!
I am surprised that this game didn't spawn any sequels or clones, honestly. This is a solid game that has a lot of replay value. Well worth picking up.
