I write this review mooch too late but I hope it's still helpful. I moost say I haven't played that moony platformers but when I saw the trailer for Moo Lander it got me curious. So I gave it a chance and it turned out to be pretty fun. Boss battles especially are really cool and the game offers A LOT of different ways to equip yourself and approach any obstacle. The art and music are nice and soothing and dialogue/story are in general pretty amoosing. If I had to give it a score, I'd say an overall 4.5/5.
I am slightly biased, I must say, as I know the team and I've been following the games' devolopment, so now that I've said, about the game.
To me, Moolander was/is an experience that combines a challanging arcade feeling, aesthetically pleasing visuals and music and some excercises for the wit. Add a bunch of cows and milk and a bit of humor and you have it.
I'd say time well spent and I am sure a lot of people will enjoy it.
A really good mix between subtle gameplay experience, pretty well made graphics and effects that makes our time in front of the screen intriguing and full of surprising moments. Worth every minute so far. Oh and the multiplayer rocks. Play with helmet on, irl.
