the game was fantastic but when I got to Escaton's Palace several times and no mater what I tried to do you always crash.

Great game with core grind gameplay

This is one of first games in my life, i remember it as great RPG game, but now... Then i am playing it in 2021 i realise how core gameplay is full of pointless grind, it is still good and interisting, but feels not that enjoyable as i remember it.

The gane is fun, but the creators didn't create many options to win. You are reequired to take a particular path to achieve a win.
