Dont just buy Metal Slug X and skip this
The game is amazing. The port is very loyal to the arcade game experience (you will either dislike this because of the slowdowns or you will love it, i personally love it). This game is must buy, dont skip this game and just play Metal Slug X. This game and X are very different and its worth experiencing. The game is 100% worth the full price. If you are unsure you can wait for a discount, this game is often in discount. This port has a menu which you can config your game how you want. You can choose difficulty, the starting mission, controls/graphics, autofire, etc Slowdowns are not a very big problem, the only part where the frames go down a lot is in mission 6 at the very start with the soldiers throwing the rockets at you. Aside from that, there's slowdowns but its 100% playable and dont really affect negatively your experience.

It's NOT that SERIOUS!
Metal Slug 2 is fucking great and not a bad PORT by any means. Trust me on that! Or don't trust me. Doesn't really matter! The best sexual advice I can give you is... Go down on Metal Slug 2 and eat like you've been starving for weeks on in. And if Metal Slug 2 SQUIRTS goodness all over your face. Lighting up a sense of enjoyment then you've found the right Girl... I mean GAME. The only two negatives are the lack of ONLINE MULTIPLAYER and weak ass MENUS.
