Awesome Game / Bad Port

METAL SLUG is an all-time classic from the NEO GEO, a timeless masterpiece that you can play countless times and still have a blast. This is arcade run n' gun at it's finest and if you haven't played it yet you must give it a try. Unfortunately even though this game was released in the 90's and shouldn't be that hard to run on modern PC, this port suffers from framerate drop and input lag which is really a shame...

It is Metal Slug and i love it..

Metal Slug is a great game it has beautiful pixel-art, great run-n-gun aktion. Everyone can get behind real quick for a game or too. That is my honest opinion. But WHY THE FLUFF DOES THIS GAME COME WITHOUT NATIVE CONTROLLER SUPPORT ---OR--- REMAPABLE BUTTONS? Lazy. Sry. Very Dissapointed about this. It lags like playing the old PSP Disc-Version at times.. I really dont know what to say. Maybe outsource it to some dedicated modders or something guys? This is my personal Cyberpunk 2077. Just HOW? And tbh why..?

Metal Slug Games were my best purchase

This Metal Slug port is very loyal to the original experience, this includes the slowdowns. But there's some "extras which i loved. These extras being: 1. Having a cool menu where you can set your difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard), change the controls/settings(sound, graphics, etc). 2. You can either play the Arcade Mode (From mission 1 to 6) or you can choose one mission in specific to start. 3. you can turn on or off autofire. Conclusion: Amazing Game. Very Loyal port ( i personally liked it).

Welp, it's the OG!

Basically, Metal Slug in all of its glory and ''pure'' arcade gameplay: beautiful graphics, straightforward story and action packed gameplay. No more, no less. Plus, there's net play and leaderboard score, if that's your sort of thing! So, a classic upgraded just enough to not lose its OG feeling. Afficionado or not, this is gem is truly recommended!
