Good port, no real problems
It's MGS on PC, plain and simple. And the VR missions! Plenty of fun to have, once you master the clunky controls.

didn´t know how much i missed it until i played it,, would be nice if some 3d acceleration options cold be done, just to look nicer than ps1 era,,

Great Game, Annoying port
TL;DR at the bottom For a game made in 1998 this game is fantastic. Despite the graphics being terrible and the controls being clunky I still really enjoyed playing this game. The story, visuals (despite the poor graphics), voice acting, were all incredible. That being said, the amount of times that I had to reload a save or potentially lose hours due to not having a save because of the cutscenes having no audio was insane. This may not be a problem to you if you are a save freak. Or maybe it was just my computer. I don't really know but a cutscene losing all audio really kills the emotional impact which made me restart entire areas just to experience it with audio. Despite it's downfalls I think that MGS1 is a great game and definitely a worthy play. Just emulate the other games on RPCS3 by the way. All except for 5 because it would most likely run terribly. TL;DR Great game despite technology limitations, holds up in 2025. Cutscenes would lose all audio randomly which may make you want to redo entire areas which was annoying, if you want to play just save a lot.
