I have not played moo1+2
This game could be really epic if it had a civilization-type gameplay for building organizing the planets-ships. Hope for a MOO 4 advanced game

Not as good as the last but still fun
To be honest, noting can compare to MOO2. That being said, this game had its ups and downs. The greatest thing I think is that it truly felt like you were running a galactic empire. I love this game. I think if the title were separated from MOO2 the reception would be better.

It's cool
The level of micromanagement is incredible, and required if you want your empire to be much more than just mediocre. Learning all the whistles and bells without manual takes time. Few things could've been made a lot easier.

A great Game
Very steep learning curve, and although it was released as an unfinished product its still a spectacular game that suffer a lot from the constant comparison to moo2. ITS JUST A DIFFERENT GAME! Install bhruic's fixes to clear the minor bugs and you'll discover this game is a diamond in a rough.
