All that and...
This was the core engine used for the original Masters of Orion (note the similarity in titles) and the inspiration for the Magic: The Gathering card game that launched the trading card game phenomenon. As addictive as Civ, imho.

Excellent Game!
I only wish the version update was from an earlier time. I remember when the amount of points dictated what spells you would start with in coomon, uncommon, AND rare. Now, it's only common sadly. However, all the rest will keep you fighting for more!

classic dos game!
Its got the "color pie" like MTG,. Its got both macro and micro strats (tho the micro AI is very sus). its got all sorts of mods now. Its not a great game but its got the core of a great game and the DLC mods really make it pop
