Nice callback
This game was great in the late 90's and that remake is a true remake of the original with update graphics. UI is janky, you need to get used to knowing when to right clic or left clic. Animations and graphics are a little cheap for a recent title

Very good but...
The original Master of Magic was my favorite game as a kid. I really liked this more modern version of it. The tutorial for this game is very lacking and I would be completly lost without the years of experiance from playing the old game.

Faithful remake
I received Master of Magic as a Christmas Gift in 1995, and spent some of my best nights as a young lad transforming Arcanus into an undead wasteland via Zombie Mastery. This remake is fun and brings back the (magic) spirit of those good times.
