T-RN -Games I Recommend- Majesty is Gold

For its regular price of 9.99USD you'll get a ton of scenarios, a random map generator, a great kingdom simulator set in a fantasy world, tons of heroes to recruit and tons of monsters to defeat. The HD version is great and ran amazing on my Win7 desktop, I did run into some weird slow-downs on my Win10 laptop that I was able to fix with some basic troubleshooting but, just be aware of any potential issues with Win10. If the game looks remotely interesting please check it out, good old games are on the rise and for good reason, they're still awesome, just like Majesty! A unique and atmospheric game

I was surprised, that I never heard of it before. It is absolutely worth its money. The concept is very unique and it is fun to watch your heros acting on their own. As there are not much descriptions what are the specialities of every hero class or building, you need to learn it by trying. But that is really fun and motivating. Also important to mention are the "details" like all the voice acting, which really makes a nice atmosphere. In general I enjoyed the atmosphere, as it is not as kinky as modern games with their colorful style. It is really a hidden gem.

No equal to this game, it stands alone

I love this game, and the sequel lost track on what was fun about the original. Sadly, there is no equal or comparison to this game, it stands alone. Its immensely fun. This release did not add anything to the original, but eliminated some of the unlock requirements within the game. I wish there was another game like this, but this is it.

Unique, amazing game. Works in Windows10

Majesty is an amazing game, unique in its kind, that has aged graciously well. Many reviews here cover that perfectly. Others, however, criticize GOG's edition and compare it to Steam's. One of the main points against "Gold HD" cites incompabilities with Windows 10. Since I own both editions, my only purpose to write this review is to confirm to anyone interested that this edition works perfectly well on my system, running Windows 10, absolutely zero issues. Should you encounter any problems, I can also assure from personal experience that GOG's refund policy has you covered, and quickly. If you prefer to support GOG, buy here with confidence.

A unique game

I had this one on CD, but the copy deteriorated a bit over the last 15 years. If you want a unique strategy experience mixed in with some RPG elements and a bit of management, this is the game to get. The sequel is also good, but not as good as the original.
